Goodfella's Diner was founded by Earl Malone in 1954, right here on Malone Avenue. Earl had one rule: no shortcuts. Every patty is hand-pressed from never-frozen beef. Every bun is delivered fresh from Thompson's Bakery down the road. Every shake is made with three scoops of real ice cream — no syrup, no powder, no faking it.
The original cast iron griddle? Still in use. The chrome stools at the counter? Same ones your grandparents sat on. Earl's secret sauce recipe? Passed down to his son, Earl Jr., who runs the kitchen to this day.
Three decades of chain restaurants tried to push us out. They came with their frozen patties and their focus groups. We stayed with our griddle and our regulars. Turns out, people know the difference.
Goodfella's Diner isn't a brand. It's a promise. Walk through that door and you'll taste 70 years of doing one thing — and doing it right.
Come on in, the griddle is hot!
